Helpern Architects rescued 30 West 44th Street from near-dereliction to become a social and architectural success. Helpern entirely transformed the Penn Club’s interiors and added two stories to the structure to create a very special building for alumni. The restoration earned a New York Preservation Award from the Municipal Art Society.
