The New Academic Center St. Francis College Brooklyn, New York Most recent project from the Helpern Architects’ master plan to be completed for “the small college of big dreams,” the 35,000-sf Academic Center adjoins and shares vertical circulation with the College’s main building.  Built to high standards of sustainability, the Center houses 14 smart classrooms, a 3-story library, a 90-seat theater/lecture hall, the communications arts department, a cyber lounge, and academic offices.   Restoration of the old building, done at the same time, reveals original classical motifs.
